Become a Crew Leader

Role Description

Volunteer Crew Leaders work with the HFHC Construction Team to prep for and lead volunteers on Build Days.

Specifically, Crew Leaders will help set up for the day, lead a crew of 3-8 people in construction tasks, ensure quality work and a positive volunteer experience, be willing to ask questions of the site supervisor, and help clean up and close the site at the end of the day.

Be a part of our success! Crew Leaders will:

Prioritize safety, productivity, and fun on the build site
Be committed to creating a positive volunteer experience
Follow the standard building procedures of the HFHC Construction Department
Maintain quality construction standards
Assist in recruiting additional leaders by sharing your experience
Align with HFHC’s Core Values: trust, commitment, engagement, innovation, curiosity, and achievement.
Build Day Hours: 7am-3:30pm (Set up through clean up).
